Auto Body Prepper (2nd Shift) - 4 Day Work Week!
Pay Range: $20-$24 hourly plus a $500 bonus.
About the role
We’re looking for Autobody Techs with a minimum of 1 year of professional automotive bodywork experience to join Carvana—the fastest-growing used automotive retailer in U.S. history and one of the four fastest companies to make the Fortune 500.
As an Auto Body Repair Technician, you’ll perform light bodywork, including:
- Prepping, sanding, and buffing vehicles
- Removing and installing bumpers
- Minor plastic welding
- Small area bodywork (including Bondo repair)
Responsibilities
- Work in a fast-paced, ever-changing production environment
- Use safety equipment including face shields, goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, masks, and other protective garments
- Perform physical tasks such as operating vehicle equipment and tools, and lifting up to 60 pounds independently
- Work mandatory overtime based on business needs to ensure timely vehicle delivery
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of professional automotive bodywork experience
- At least 18 years of age with a valid driver’s license
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Must pass a complete background check (some positions may require a Motor Vehicle Records check)
- Ability to work in conditions that may include exposure to excessive weather (heat/cold)
