About the role
West CARSTAR Auto Body is currently seeking to hire an auto body Detailer.
Responsibilities
- Pre-washing vehicles upon drop off
- Cleaning the inside of vehicles
- A final washing prior to delivering the customer vehicle
- Keeping the office, bathrooms, shop, and shop lot clean
- Emptying trash
- Sweeping floors
- Breaking down boxes
- Using a weed whacker
- Disposal of damaged body panels
- Assisting technicians when needed
- Occasionally helping with parts
- Dropping vehicles off at local sublet vendors
- At times running customers home
- Other random duties as assigned
Requirements
- Required hours: Monday -- Friday, 7:30 a.m. -- 5:30 p.m.
- Prior knowledge of / experience in a collision repair center, or other automotive experience preferred
- Required Skills and Experience: Reliable work history, attendance and punctuality, Strong attention to detail, Ability to receive direction and work well with others, Ability to stoop, bend, kneel, squat and pull, Ability to perform repetitive motions, Must have valid driver's license
