Key Job Responsibilities
- Aid in performing basic auto body repairs, such as dent removal, sanding, and painting.
- Undergo training to use and maintain tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Participate in vehicle inspections to identify damages and develop repair plans.
- Collaborate with team members to complete repair projects within specified timelines and quality standards.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment by following all safety protocols.
Education And/or Experience Required
- High School Diploma/GED preferred
- Trade/Vocational school graduates preferred
- Some on-the-job experience is preferred
- I-CAR Gold Class preferred
Required Skills And Abilities
- At least 18 years of age
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Able to stand for long periods of time
- Able to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Able to visually inspect vehicle damage in various weather conditions
- Able to use hands efficiently in handling vehicle parts
- Strong interest in the automotive industry and a desire to learn and develop technical skills
- Basic knowledge of auto body repair techniques and tools preferred but not required
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude toward learning and problem-solving
- Reliable transportation to commute to the workplace

- Perform all assigned activities according to the Standardized Operating Procedures of the company
- Strive to improve the efficiency of the production department and overall company operation
- Participate in training programs as required
- Extend normal working hours as necessary to accommodate workload and customer requirements
Requirements To Qualify For Entry Into TDP
- Mentor agrees to accept trainee
- No unplanned absences
- No tardiness violations
- Works with selected mentor for 90% or more of the 30-day time frame
- Passes final Pre-TDP assessment
- Mentor signs training agreement
