About the role

Autism Therapist positions are available at ABA Centers of Washington in Bothell, Mill Creek, and Woodinville. These roles focus on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Direct client support by delivering ABA therapy in various settings such as homes, schools, communities, clinics, or other venues.
  • Teach communication, social, and daily living skills to clients.
  • Implement individualized treatment plans under BCBA supervision.
  • Track progress and maintain quality by collecting, organizing, and documenting session data accurately.
  • Collaborate and communicate with BCBAs, team members, and families, participating in team meetings and ongoing training.
  • Assist with administrative and clinical support tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 6+ months of relevant experience (including internships or related roles).
  • Available during mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Reliable transportation with valid driver's license and insurance.
  • Ability to pass background checks, drug screening, and driving record review.

Preferred

  • Experience in childcare, education, or related fields.
  • Prior exposure to ABA services.

Position-Specific Items

  • Behavior Technician (BT): Complete a 40-hour paid training program over 2 consecutive weeks (at the same rate of pay), followed by precepting (hands-on supervision), and pass the RBT exam within 45 days (up to 3 weeks total).
  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT): Active certification in good standing; 1 week of paid training followed by precepting (hands-on supervision) (up to 2 weeks total).
