Major Responsibilities
- Partner with parents and caregivers to plan, troubleshoot, and coordinate autism waiver services
- Support families in accessing Autism Waiver Program resources
- Develop and maintain Person-Centered Autism Support Plans (Meditech documentation)
- Help families identify providers and build support teams
- Affirmatively meet monthly with families receiving Intensive In-Home Supports
- Attend trainings, conferences, and community events as a representative of Northeast Arc
- Contribute to special projects and center initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- At least three years of experience or equivalent experience with specialized training in the field of autism
- Experience supporting individuals with autism (personal or professional)
- Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle; mileage reimbursement provided for required travel
- Ability to attend off-site meetings and travel in varied weather conditions
- Ability to sit at a desk for approximately 50% of the day and stand/walk for the remaining 50%
