Job Summary

Seeking a Clerical Documentation Assistant (CED) who assists the provider with navigating the medical record, locating information for review and researching information as requested.

What you will do in this role:

• Capture accurate and detailed documentation of the patient/Licensed Independent Practitioner (LIP)/Independent Advanced Practice Professional (Independent APP) encounter in a timely manner (during the encounter or immediately following the patient encounter).
• Reflect the services provided on the specific date of service.
• Assist the provider with navigating the medical record.
• Locate information for review.
• Research information as requested by the provider.
• Perform Other Related Job Functions As Assigned.

Qualifications

• N/A

Education

• A High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.

Experience

• Minimum one-year experience as a scribe or previous experience in a clinical or hospital setting is required.

Certification/License

• Medical Scribe Certification (Preferred)
