Aurora House Registered Nurse

About the role

Provide comprehensive nursing services to youth, including health assessments, medication management and coordination of medical care. Educate youth, families and staff on health, wellness and medication while promoting a strength-based, restorative approach to treament. Maintain accurate medical documentation and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support each youth's individualized care plan. Participate in treatment planning, crisis response and on-call medical support as needed.

Qualifications

• Current New York State Registered Nurse license required.
• Psychiatric nursing experience with adolescents is preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills are essential.
• Valid NYS Driver's License.
