Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of auditing duties using knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS).
- Provide value-added solutions and work with management to monitor internal controls, mitigate risks, and provide feedback regarding audit and/or corrective action plans.
- Develop complete consolidated report(s) of audit findings.
- Recommend improvements to program processes, workflow, or systems controls and develop recommended corrective action plans. Findings may result in program changes at the operational level.
- Identify areas where new policies, processes, policy changes, or guidelines have occurred and proactively plan for and identify potential risks. Recommend process improvement actions to mitigate possible risks.
