Auditor - CPA Preferred

Buffalo Grove IL firm is looking for a full-time auditor.

Responsibilities

• Perform entire audit process from set up of the financial information in ProSystem FX Engagement to the preparation of the financial statements to be submitted for technical review
• Work with clients to obtain financial package and specific documents for review
• Conduct preliminary analytical review procedures; inquire of client about significant undetermined variances
• Schedule field audits, perform substantive testing audit procedures at client sites in Cook County, and record results
• Prepare draft financial statements and audit reports, perform final analytical review, submit audit for technical review process, and follow up with client as needed
• About 10 days/year, travel to perform audits for part of the day at client locations in Chicago area (Cook County)

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting or Accountancy
• 3 years of full-time experience as auditor or accountant preparing financial statements
• Experience with Single Audits and 401k audits preferred
