What You’ll Do
- Audits financial data changes on multiple operational platforms, including (but not limited to) broker changes, vendor changes and billing rate changes.
- Audits transactions surrounding the monthly statement generation for HPI’s clients.
- Audits various Enrollment and COBRA transactions.
- Audits payments / eligibility for select vendors.
- Audits various items, including enrollment and billing reports and 1099 info, to ensure that information between multiple HPI departments remains accurate and in sync.
- Ensures that policies and procedures are consistently applied in all processes.
- Identifies issues and trends in data entry and documentation that affect accuracy.
- Records/tracks quality assessment scores and distributes audit results to staff and management in a timely manner.
- Addresses and tracks results and appeals.
- Researches items discovered during audits for accuracy, potential process improvements, and additional training opportunities.
- Evaluates learning needs of the staff and effectiveness of current training.
- Collaborates with management team to coordinate learning and training opportunities.
- Provides written feedback to managers and supervisors concerning quality concerns pertaining to individual performance, compliance risks/trends, root cause analysis and any system or process improvements recommended.
- Assists in the development of departmental policies and procedures.
- Maintains proficiency by attending team meetings of assigned departments.
What You Bring
- A High School Diploma or equivalent education.
- An Associates degree or equivalent work experience.
- Demonstrates organizational, problem solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Demonstrates verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compliance with organizational and departmental policies and procedures.
- Some flexibility to occasionally start shift earlier or later to accommodate the training needs of remote workers in alternate time zones.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams).
