Audit Winter 2028 Internship – Holmdel, NJ

Winter 2028 (~January–March) internship in Holmdel, NJ. Hybrid schedule with in-office collaboration expected on average 3 days per week.

About the role

CohnReznick is seeking motivated accounting students to support audit engagements in a collaborative, hybrid environment. Interns will work closely with teams serving clients across industries such as Consumer & Industrial, Financial Services, Life Sciences & Healthcare, Public Sector, Real Estate, Renewable Energy, Technology & Media, and Private Client Services.

Each intern is paired with a Performance Coach for goal-setting and feedback and a CR Friend for onboarding support.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all aspects of audit engagements including cash, bank reconciliations, accounts payable, searching for unrecorded liabilities, maintaining confirmation logs, and preparing audit work papers.
• Assist with audits, reviews, compilations, and accounting services.
• Resolve audit issues by obtaining evidence and making client inquiries while supporting daily workflow.

Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
• On track to complete 150 credit hours for CPA eligibility.
• Minimum 3.2 GPA in both major and overall coursework.
• Successfully completed Intermediate Accounting with a grade of B or higher.
• Leadership experience in student groups, activities, or team projects.
• Excellent communication skills and sharp critical thinking.
• Comfort navigating fast-paced environments and embracing change.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; eagerness to learn new technologies.
• U.S. citizen or permanent resident.

Pay

In New Jersey, the salary for an Audit Winter Intern is $35 per hour.
