Audit Senior Manager

BerryDunn is seeking an Audit Senior Manager to join our core team serving commercial industry clients and to help lead our engagement service team. This role supports clients in industries such as manufacturing, technology, and critical infrastructure.

About the role

You will report to the Principals in this Practice Group. This position may work from one of our offices located in Manchester, NH, Waltham, MA, Portland, ME, New Haven, CT, or Bangor, ME. Occasional travel, up to 20%, is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage, direct, and monitor multiple client engagements; schedule and coordinate workflow and staffing for projects.
• Maintain active communication with clients to manage expectations, ensure satisfaction, and lead change efforts.
• Research and analyze financial statements and related issues using electronic databases and audit software; document conclusions.
• Consult with clients to make recommendations on business and process improvements as a trusted advisor.
• Collaborate with Principals and other Senior Managers on proposals and business development activities.
• Supervise, lead, and mentor associates and interns on engagements; assess staff performance.
• Participate in personal and professional development sessions regularly.

Requirements

• BS/MS degree in Accounting.
• 8+ years of progressive public accounting experience, preferably with commercial clients (e.g., manufacturing, retail, wholesale, technology, infrastructure).
• CPA license.
• Excellent technical skills, including understanding of professional rules and regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proven supervisory and training success.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing priorities in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
• Excellent communication, client service, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Pay

The base salary range for this role is $125,000 - $170,000. This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on company and personal performance. The final salary will be determined by factors such as experience, education, depth of expertise, seniority, merit, training, and travel requirements.
