Responsibilities

• Lead and manage financial audits and ensure compliance with GAAP.
• Perform bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies swiftly and accurately.
• Review and verify the accuracy of financial statements and records.
• Collaborate with external auditors and provide necessary documentation.
• Identify potential areas of financial risk and propose effective mitigating strategies.
• Provide insightful recommendations for improving financial performance and operational efficiency.
• Keep abreast of the latest industry trends, regulations, and best practices in financial auditing.
• Train and mentor junior auditors, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A master’s degree or professional certifications such as CPA will be an added advantage.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial auditing, with a strong focus on GAAP and bank reconciliation.
• Proficiency in using accounting software and advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
• Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of managing audit teams.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present financial information clearly and concisely.
• High levels of integrity and professional ethics.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Pay

$80,000 - $90,000 per year
