Audit Senior

About the role

We are a midsize CPA firm with headquarters in south Denver and another office in Tulsa, OK. We also have satellite offices in Colorado Springs and Boulder. Our primary focus is on higher education, non-profit, and government entities, but we are expanding into new verticals such as construction, real estate, and manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statement audits
• Review colleagues' audit paperwork
• Work closely with clients as the main point of contact
• Obtain all necessary information and documents for audit
• Help uphold company policies and best practices
• Oversee and mentor junior accountants

Requirements

• At least 2+ years of public accounting experience
• Experience with external GAAP/GAAS audits
• Experience with for-profit entities
• Experience with non-profit entities
• Experience with government entities
• CPA eligible or licensed

Qualifications

• CPA license preferred

Skills

• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously

Benefits

• Base Salary: $70,000-$110,000
