Audit Senior Associate

Responsibilities

• Proactively engage with clients throughout the year to gather needed information to complete testing and respond to questions raised.
• Plan and supervise the execution of all audit engagement activities.
• Review and perform substantive testing on client’s balance sheets and income statements.
• Conduct and review tests to assess deficiencies of internal controls and make recommendations for improvement.
• Play an active role in discussions with the Manager and Partner relative to business recommendations resulting from testing performed and information gathered.
• Learn and grow from direct on the job coaching and mentoring along with participating in firm wide learning and development programs.
• Utilize your entrepreneurial skills to network and build strong relationships internally and with your clients.
• Support the growth and development of team members through the Baker Tilly Care and Teach philosophy, helping associates meet their professional goals.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree, and license eligible
• CPA preferred
• Three (3) years of experience providing financial statement auditing services within a public accounting firm
• Demonstrated skills in the areas of time management, communication, interpersonal skills, relationship building, collaboration, and problem solving
• Strong leadership, project management, organizational and analytical skills, initiative, adaptability
• Microsoft Suite skills
• Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship preferred

The pay rate ranges for this job position are posted below. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of relevant factors including but not limited to applicant’s skills, prior experience, qualifications, degrees, professional certifications, work arrangements and geographic location.

Baker Tilly offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package to eligible employees:

• In Fresno (CA) and Stockton (CA): the pay rate range is $79,400 to $108,900
• In Rancho Cordova/Sacramento (CA): the pay rate range is $91,000 to $145,350
• In Salinas (CA): the pay rate range is $86,000 to $118,800
