Audit Manager (Hybrid)

We are seeking an ambitious, detail-oriented Audit Manager for a hybrid role (mostly onsite) in a high-growth regional firm. Real estate experience is preferred.

About the role

This position allows you to showcase your expertise in audit management both in-person and remotely. You will manage engagements, teams, and client relationships to facilitate clean audits.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic audit planning.
• Manage agency relationships involving audit matters, including the IRS and other regulatory bodies.
• Review tax accruals and reconciliations, and ensure accurate input of data into the company's financial system.
• Advise management about the impact of audit and tax liabilities and corporate strategies.
• Supervise and mentor junior members of the audit team.
• Stay abreast of current developments in the tax area and provide tax updates to management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
• Active CPA license is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a public accounting firm or related experience.
• Strong understanding of tax code, compliance, and procedures for corporations.
• Familiarity with U.S. federal, state, and local reporting requirements.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Impeccable analytical and organizational skills.
• Self-motivated and self-directed; able to work with minimal oversight.
• Ability to work closely with a team, handle multiple tasks, and meet strict deadlines.

Pay

$100,000 - $160,000 per year
