Audit Manager - Financial Services
About the role
The Weaver Audit Investment Funds (IF) practice is seeking an Audit Manager to join their dynamic team. This role involves planning, supervising, and reviewing complex engagements for a variety of financial services clients, including Alternative Investment Funds, Financial Institutions, Broker/Dealers, and others.
Responsibilities
- Plan, supervise, and review multiple and more complex engagements and other client assignments
- Manage staff and engagements to meet the Firm's metrics/Operating Plan, including client retention and staff turnover goals
- Provide excellent service to clients throughout all phases of the audit
- Develop, train, and mentor Associates and Senior Associates
- Work closely with firm leadership and participate in business development and firm administration activities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- CPA with 5+ years of public accounting experience or its equivalent
- Experience in Financial Services required (Alternative Investment Funds, Financial Institutions, Broker/Dealers, Insurance or related industries)
- Outstanding relationship management and practice development skills
- Proven ability to manage, mentor, and develop staff
- Demonstrated independent thinking and strong decision-making skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Accounting or related field
Benefits
A reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this position is $125,000 to $180,000. Actual compensation will be based on a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, skills, certifications, and geographical location. Weaver offers competitive health benefits, such as medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, and a 401(k) plan. Additional benefits include flexible scheduled time off (STO), minimum of 56 hours of sick and safe leave, 11 holidays, and 2 scheduled recharge days.
