About the Role
The Audit Director/Audit Manager will manage and develop relationships with clients, assist them in obtaining necessary funding, and help meet their audit and financial planning objectives. They will lead engagement progress, communicate important developments, and oversee client engagement teams.
Responsibilities
- Manage and develop relationships with great clients.
- Aid clients in obtaining necessary funding to positively impact their community.
- Aid clients with meeting their audit and financial planning objectives.
- Be creative with staff development, mentoring, and overseeing client engagement teams.
- Lead the engagement progress by monitoring time budgets and deadlines.
- Communicate important developments to the engagement principal along with facts, conclusions, and recommendations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of public accounting experience with emphasis in financial statement preparation and audits.
- Experience leading teams of high performing people and managing governmental audits and Single audits (preferred).
- CPA license certification is required.
Benefits
