About the role
We are seeking an Audit Certification Specialist in the USA to join our team. Your primary responsibility will be to perform tasks related to certificate creation, certification KPI tracking, and collaborating with GFSI scheme owner databases.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and organize data from various sources to enable continuous improvement.
- Interpret data to provide analysis and direction on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Collaborate with auditing staff to ensure deadlines are met and maintain client satisfaction.
- Oversee monitoring of certification mailboxes and drives for pertinent reports and client communications.
- Respond to general inquiries and seek out information for technical inquiries.
- Help to develop and manage Google drives housing all certification documents shared by Silliker's global auditing regions.
- Manage the client questionnaire and application process for audits.
- Train auditors on internal tracking tools and processes.
- Maintain tracking records using spreadsheets, databases, and other systems.
- Create and issue file review documents for technical report reviews.
- Create, distribute, and print certificates for certification clients.
- Analyze certification auditor data and provide interpretive summaries to management quarterly.
- Maintain customer required databases to ensure audit information and addenda are entered, available for auditors, and are closed out in a timely manner.
- Provide training, guidance, and ongoing support to auditors and support staff for the use of technology.
- Develop documentation and manuals for databases used by Silliker's global auditing regions.
- Collaborate with management to implement new and changed audit guidelines and information in the eSTAR database.
- Maintain all documentation related to audit forms.
- Entry and testing of both existing and new audit forms into eSTAR.
- Support corporate quality and continuous improvement process.
Requirements
- General knowledge of food testing, auditing, and certification methods typically obtained from a degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry or other life sciences or extensive related experience.
- Well-developed oral and written communication skills.
- A strong knowledge of office and statistical software and complex databases.
- A strong knowledge of Microsoft software, especially Excel, to generate reports and communicate information.
- Organizational and time management skills to ensure that schedules are maintained within established timelines.
Qualifications

Pay
$26.00 - $31.00 hourly USD
Schedule
Frequent travel is required to client sites for audits, consultations, and training sessions.
