Responsibilities
- Lead external audit and attest engagements from planning through completion
- Review financial statements and audit workpapers for accuracy and compliance
- Build and maintain strong client relationships while serving as a trusted advisor
- Supervise, mentor, and develop audit staff
- Manage multiple engagements while ensuring quality and timely completion
- Stay current on GAAP, GAAS, and industry developments
- Identify process improvements and deliver value-added client service
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 5+ years of public accounting experience with a focus on external audit
- CPA license preferred or actively pursuing CPA certification
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and GAAS
- Experience supervising staff and managing engagements
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
