Audit Associate

About the role

As an Audit Associate at PDR, you will immediately begin using your critical thinking abilities with your team and clients to solve problems, as well as utilizing your social skills to build relationships with clients. Responsibilities

• Participate in annual audits, reviews, and compilation engagements with a variety of clients.
• Engage in all aspects of a financial statement audit and assist in planning the engagements.
• Complete work papers to document and conclude on specific audit areas.
• Assist in various data extraction and analysis procedures.
• Participate with audit team members in the engagement planning process.
• Assist with preparing financial statements.
• Participate in client meetings, promoting partnership and collaboration on engagement tasks, and work with the audit team to identify and resolve client issues discovered during audit processes.

Requirements

• Effective time management.

• Ability to work well with a team as well as independently.

• Ability to work under pressure and against deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Accounting.
• Eligibility to sit for the CPA exam and/or CPA certification is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• 1 to 2 years of recent relevant public accounting experience is preferred.
