Your Impact As an Audit Associate, you will support audit and assurance engagements for privately held businesses and employee benefit plans. Working alongside experienced audit professionals, you will gain hands-on experience performing audit procedures, analyzing financial information, and helping clients meet their financial reporting and compliance obligations. How You Will Add Value Assist in the planning and execution of audits for privately held companies and employee benefit plans.Perform audit fieldwork, testing, and documentation in accordance with professional standards.Prepare audit workpapers and support the development of financial statements and related reports.Analyze financial data and investigate variances, trends, and account activity.Research accounting and auditing topics and apply guidance to client engagements.Collaborate with team members to identify solutions and improve engagement efficiency.Communicate professionally with clients to obtain information and support engagement objectives.Utilize technology and firm resources to enhance the quality and effectiveness of audit engagements. What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.Completion of an audit internship or relevant public accounting audit and assurance experience required.Exposure to financial statement audits through internship, professional, or academic experience.CPA eligible or actively pursuing CPA certification preferred.Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Professional and personable communication skills.Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate work.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.Eagerness to learn and build a career in public accounting and assurance services.
