Audit Assistant Manager
About the role
Take ownership of a portfolio of audit clients, managing relationships and delivering a high-quality client experience while identifying opportunities to support their ongoing growth and success.
Prioritize and oversee audit assignments from start to finish, ensuring work is delivered efficiently, within budget and in line with Kreston Reeves' quality standards.
Review and deliver complex audit work, including consolidations and technical audit areas, while resolving issues and providing guidance on more challenging assignments.
Act as a key point of contact for clients, maintaining regular communication, leading audit planning and close meetings, and providing proactive advice that adds value beyond the audit.
Work collaboratively with Partners and colleagues across the firm to deliver joined-up client service and identify opportunities to introduce additional Kreston Reeves services.
Lead, coach and develop Audit Seniors, Semi Seniors and Assistants, providing clear direction, ongoing feedback and support to help them reach their full potential.
Monitor workflow, budgets, billing and audit file completion, ensuring deadlines are met, compliance requirements are maintained and work is completed to the highest professional standards.
Contribute to business development activities, networking, client meetings, presentations and thought leadership where appropriate.
Champion continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance audit efficiency, improve processes and deliver exceptional client service.
