Audiologist, Clinical Specialist
Responsibilities
- Age appropriate diagnostic assessments and interpretation
- Aid Advanced Clinical Specialist in training, off-orientation, and skills validation activities
- Contribute to clinical special projects such as calibration or research
- Develop information sheets, handouts, home programs, or forms for the division
- Collaborate in the development of evidence-based protocols and guidelines
Qualifications
- Doctorate required, Doctorate in Audiology preferred
- Texas Audiology License
- BLS - Basic Life Support from American Heart Association
- CCC-A Cert-Audiology (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association within 6 months of position start date)
- ORABA-Cert (American Board of Audiology within 6 months of position start date)
- Preferred 3 years of experience
- Experience with Cochlear Implants - nice to have
