Company Description
Audiology Research Associates is a 40+ year private-owned clinic in Northern Idaho and Southwestern Washington focused on audiology services. The team is seeking a long-term, full-time audiologist to join them in this region.
Role Description
- Evaluating and Diagnosing: Conduct comprehensive audiological assessments using advanced diagnostic tools.
- Coinciding and Providing Care: Report writing, maintaining patient records, and improving quality results through process evaluation.
- Education and Counseling: Communicate with patients and their referring physicians, explaining complex information and adapting to their comfort levels.
- Dispensing Hearing Aids: Provide hearing aid dispensing, fitting, ear-mold acoustics, and ongoing management.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Audiology (AuD) or Master’s degree in Audiology from an accredited program; eligible for state licensure in Washington State.
- Experience performing comprehensive diagnostic hearing evaluations and interpreting results.
- Proficiency in hearing aid selection, fitting, verification, and follow-up care using evidence-based practices.
- Strong patient counseling and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly and empathetically.
- Organizational and documentation skills, including accurate EHR use and adherence to clinical protocols.
- Commitment to ethical, patient-centered care and ongoing professional development in audiology.
- Prior clinical experience in a private practice or medical audiology setting is beneficial.
