Position Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and test high performance AV solutions for government customers.
  • Generate custom audiovisual system designs using Crestron technologies.
  • Support customer stakeholder meetings to collect and document or validate system requirements.
  • Research, identify, and recommend technology options to solve customer problems.
  • Support onsite deployment of AV systems and system configuration phases.
  • Coordinate with customer facilities teams and other onsite sub-contractors and vendors during systems installation as required.
  • Support the development of end-user training materials and operations and maintenance plans.
  • Perform in-house testing and on-site commissioning at client locations.
  • Develop expertise in the industry through continuing training, certifications, and review of trade publications.

Basic Qualifications

  • This position requires an Active TS/SCI U.S. Security Clearance.
  • Willingness to obtain a Counterintelligence Poly (CIP) or already have a current Counterintelligence Polygraph (CIP).
  • Level 2: 1+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proven experience with Crestron programming and system environments.
  • Proficiency in modern programming and scripting languages such as C++, Java, JavaScript, Perl, Python, and Visual Basic.
  • Experience in system integration, testing, and troubleshooting of complex A/V systems.
  • Hands-on experience with network programming.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with systems engineering principles and integration best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Level 3: 3+ years of related systems design and integration experience, or equivalent education and experience.
  • Level 4: 5+ years of related systems design and integration experience, or equivalent education and experience.
  • An Active TS/SCI U.S. Security Clearance and current Counterintelligence Polygraph (CIP) is strongly preferred.
  • Experience translating customer requirements into software designs.
  • Knowledge of software systems configuration management.
  • Experience with C# programming.
  • Experience with object orientated programming.
  • Experience with HTML/web programming (for user interface design).
  • Crestron Gold level programming Certification or higher.
  • Experience working with local and remote teams.
  • Experience interfacing directly with all levels of staff and management.
  • Experience working as a member of a development team.
