Position Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test high performance AV solutions for government customers.
- Generate custom audiovisual system designs using Crestron technologies.
- Support customer stakeholder meetings to collect and document or validate system requirements.
- Research, identify, and recommend technology options to solve customer problems.
- Support onsite deployment of AV systems and system configuration phases.
- Coordinate with customer facilities teams and other onsite sub-contractors and vendors during systems installation as required.
- Support the development of end-user training materials and operations and maintenance plans.
- Perform in-house testing and on-site commissioning at client locations.
- Develop expertise in the industry through continuing training, certifications, and review of trade publications.
Basic Qualifications
- This position requires an Active TS/SCI U.S. Security Clearance.
- Willingness to obtain a Counterintelligence Poly (CIP) or already have a current Counterintelligence Polygraph (CIP).
- Level 2: 1+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proven experience with Crestron programming and system environments.
- Proficiency in modern programming and scripting languages such as C++, Java, JavaScript, Perl, Python, and Visual Basic.
- Experience in system integration, testing, and troubleshooting of complex A/V systems.
- Hands-on experience with network programming.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with systems engineering principles and integration best practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Level 3: 3+ years of related systems design and integration experience, or equivalent education and experience.
- Level 4: 5+ years of related systems design and integration experience, or equivalent education and experience.
- An Active TS/SCI U.S. Security Clearance and current Counterintelligence Polygraph (CIP) is strongly preferred.
- Experience translating customer requirements into software designs.
- Knowledge of software systems configuration management.
- Experience with C# programming.
- Experience with object orientated programming.
- Experience with HTML/web programming (for user interface design).
- Crestron Gold level programming Certification or higher.
- Experience working with local and remote teams.
- Experience interfacing directly with all levels of staff and management.
- Experience working as a member of a development team.
