About the role
This position involves designing and delivering learning experiences for students in a grade level and/or content area. The role also includes organizing and facilitating the learning process using evidence-based instructional practices and applicable technology.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver learning experiences aligned with the Colorado Academic Standards.
- Organize and facilitate the learning process using evidence-based instructional practices and technology.
- Participate in a community of learning to develop and refine knowledge and skills for the academic, civic, social, and emotional success of students.
- Evaluate student progress, make appropriate adjustments, and communicate student progress.
- Collaborate, reflect, and grow to improve learning opportunities for students.
Requirements
- A licensed professional with a Bachelor's degree and a valid Colorado teaching license.
- Experience in designing and delivering learning experiences for students.
- Knowledge of evidence-based instructional practices and applicable technology.
- Ability to establish and maintain a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment.
- Ability to foster a predictable learning environment characterized by acceptable student behavior and efficient use of time.
- Ability to demonstrate mastery of and pedagogical expertise in the content taught.
- Ability to engage students as individuals, including those with diverse needs and interests, across a range of ability levels.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (e.g., B.A., A.B., B.S.)
- Meets subject, grade level, and/or content area qualifications consistent with Colorado Department of Education and Academy District 20 requirements.
- Academy District 20, Teacher License: Initial - Colorado Department of Education.
- Master's degree and willingness to teach concurrent enrollment or other Career and Technical Education (CTE) classes is preferred.

Benefits
- Compensation range: $52,020.00-$83,163.00 (Based on education and experience at 100% FTE).
