Audience Development Assistant (Term Time Only)

We are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic and organised individual to join our audience development team working across libraries, schools, and community venues.

Post Type: Fixed Term

  • Hours: 30 hours per week, typically spread over 4-5 days, with some flexibility at this stage.
  • Pay: Salary £26,403 - £26,824 per annum (pro rata), Salary Band £20,001 to £30,000

About the role

The Audience Development Assistant role is being offered initially as a 2-year fixed term post. It is a new position designed to strengthen outward-facing engagement, supporting our work with communities, schools and outreach activity.

Responsibilities

Help to take our popular Bookstart Rhymetime sessions out into the community, whilst also working with partners in health and education to offer further opportunities for people to engage with library services both within our library buildings, and at external venues across the town.

Qualifications

This post requires a satisfactory Enhanced DBS disclosure check.
