About the role
As a Service Advisor at Walter's Auto Group, you will own the customer’s experience in the service lane. You are the first point of contact with our customers and will be well-versed in product offerings, inventory needs, technician scheduling, and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Oversee Drive Lane Flow: Ensure customers receive prompt, courteous, and effective service.
- Advisory Customers: Recommend necessary services for routine maintenance and explain the work performed, including repair order charges.
- Communication: Check on repair progress throughout the day, contact customers regarding any changes in estimate or time, and obtain proper authorization for additional repairs.
- Customer Ownership: Take ownership of the customer experience, handling additional tasks to leave a positive impression.
- Technician Time Management: Ensure that technicians' time is consistently utilized to serve service customers.
- Work Distribution: Efficiently distribute work among technicians to ensure smooth service operations.
- Professionalism: Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
Requirements
- Organized and friendly personality with strong time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills with a professional, well-groomed appearance.
- Valid driver’s license held for at least 2 years, with a clean driving record.
- Previous service advisor experience required; CDK experience preferred.
Pay
Salary Range: $50,000.00 - $150,000.00 Annually
