Attorney Support Manager

Responsibilities
- Establishing strategic and operational priorities for the attorney support functions in the office while working closely with the Director of Administration and Global Business Support to ensure priorities are aligned with the office strategic priorities and global ASA platform.
- Monitoring workflow and coordination of assignments based upon daily Firm and client needs.
- Coaching and counselling attorney support team members, as needed.
- Establishing effective communication with the attorney support staff regarding firm policies, procedures and expectations as well as conducting attorney support staff meetings as necessary and in line with department guidelines.
- Managing the performance review process, incorporating all appropriate feedback; recommending salary increases and discretionary bonuses for attorney support staff, and delivering performance messages in line with departmental guidelines.
- Supporting billing operations, partnering with the Finance team and Director of Administration to monitor billing progress, maintain billing data integrity, identify process improvements, and ensure consistent training and support for all billing-related procedures and systems.
- Protecting and maintaining any highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins retains.

A minimum of six (6) years of experience in a supervisory/management capacity, preferably in a law firm. Experience driving change initiatives. Legal secretarial experience, preferably. Experience in a US law firm, preferably.

Pay Range
USD $155,000.00 - USD $170,000.00 /Yr.
