About the role

Stange Law Firm, PC has an immediate opening for a motivated, dynamic attorney to join our team in Lee's Summit, Missouri. This position offers meaningful courtroom exposure and hands-on responsibility, making it an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and help clients through critical family law matters.

Responsibilities

  • Manage family law matters from inception through resolution
  • Draft pleadings, motions, judgments, orders, and legal correspondence
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and third parties
  • Conduct legal research and analysis
  • Prepare clients and witnesses for hearings and trial
  • Attend court appearances, mediations, hearings, and trials
  • Negotiate settlements and advocate on behalf of clients
  • Maintain organized and accurate case files
  • Ensure all work product is completed accurately and timely

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) required
  • Licensed to practice law in Missouri
  • Strong communication and advocacy skills
  • Ability to manage cases effectively and professionally
  • Family law experience preferred, but not required
