About the role

Join our team as a Legal Invoice Analyst and play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of legal billing processes. As a key member of the Legal Bill Analysis Center of Excellence, you'll utilize your legal knowledge to conduct quality assurance reviews, collaborate with law firm vendors, and support dispute resolution efforts. This position offers an opportunity to apply your expertise in a dynamic environment, contributing directly to the integrity of legal financial practices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality assurance reviews of legal invoices
• Collaborate with law firm vendors
• Support dispute resolution efforts
• Independently assess and adjust legal invoices with precision
• Draft reports and correspondence

Requirements

• Strong legal knowledge, including familiarity with legal terminology and billing practices
• Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills
• Experience conducting quality assurance reviews
• Excellent written communication skills
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to collaborate effectively with legal professionals and vendors
• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Finance, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in legal billing review, audit, or related roles
• Hybrid role based in Wichita, Kansas with some on-site requirements
• Strong legal background and understanding of the legal billing lifecycle

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in legal billing audit or financial analysis
• Familiarity with legal technology platforms and invoice management tools
• Prior experience in dispute resolution or mediation
• Knowledge of legal billing guidelines and client-specific policies
• Previous experience working with law firms or legal vendors

Pay

$28/hr to $31/hr W2 (potential to convert to full-time after 6 months).

Schedule

Hybrid role based in Wichita, Kansas with some on-site requirements.
