About the Role

Responsibilities

  • Draft and review legal documents for second-level review by the Supervising Attorney.
  • Organize case files, track legal deadlines, and coordinate with paralegals and legal assistants on case logistics.
  • Shadow a senior or supervising attorney for appearances in Mediation, Court, and Sheriff’s Sales.
  • Assist in preparation in advance of appearances.
  • Collaborate with members of the state team.
  • Actively participate in weekly state meetings.
  • Engage with the Supervising Attorney in a one-on-one weekly meeting.

Requirements

  • J.D., licensed in New Jersey, and in good standing in all jurisdictions.
  • Ability to work with others in a congenial and team-oriented manner.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to multi-task and adapt to continual change.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
