Knight MacKay Morrow is a civil defense firm that tries over a dozen cases to verdict each year. Trying a case to verdict requires a team of attorneys, from the partner to the associates, who are dedicated to providing the highest quality legal representation to their client available.
About the role
Associates at Knight MacKay Morrow will write complex briefing, take depositions of experts and lay witnesses, advocate for the clients at oral argument, and go to trial.
Responsibilities
- Provide civil defense for Fortune 500 companies in personal injury and toxic tort claims.
- Research legal authority and write briefs.
- Depose key witnesses, conduct direct and cross-examinations of witnesses at trial, and handle oral arguments for motions before the Court.
- Closely collaborate with clients and develop creative trial themes.
Requirements
- License to practice law in Montana
- Excellent verbal communication and negotiation skills
- Excellent writing skills
- Analytical skills
