About the role

Poulin | Willey is seeking an experienced Attorney to join our growing personal injury team. This role offers the opportunity to represent clients throughout South Carolina and requires an active South Carolina Bar license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in personal injury matters from initial litigation through settlement or verdict.
• Draft and file litigation documents including pleadings, discovery requests/responses, motions, and legal memoranda.
• Conduct and defend depositions.
• Handle mediations, hearings, and trial proceedings, including jury selection, opening/closing statements, and examinations.
• Collaborate with paralegals and litigation support staff to ensure thorough case preparation.

Requirements

• Active membership in the South Carolina, in good standing.
• Ideally 1+ years of litigation/trial experience in personal injury or related areas, but willing to train those with less experience.
• Strong negotiation, advocacy, and courtroom skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Benefits

The compensation for this role includes a base of $75,000 plus a bonus percentage. This role can sit ANYWHERE in South Carolina!
