The prime candidate will work seamlessly with both senior partners and administrative staff in an effort to effectively strategize and serve clients. If you have excellent research and writing skills, can easily use today’s technology, communicate effectively, and love walking into the courtroom to argue if negotiations break down, we would love to connect! Compensation: $100,000 - $150,000 yearly Qualifications Communication, problem-solving, decision-making, interpersonal, and public speaking skills requiredSuccessful completion of accredited law school with Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree with 2 years of related experienceAdvanced computer skills working with legal research programs (Westlaw and Lexis) required Must be able to handle heavy caseload with little supervisionKnowledge of Microsoft Office programs is needed Responsibilities Determine case strategies and solutions to serve clients’ needs after analysisDraft correspondence, legal pleadings, motions, and briefs Take responsibility for administrative staff relating to client invoicing/billing records, setting up meetings with clients and completing tasksArgue motions in court on behalf of clients during legal proceedingsManage administrative assistants, paralegals, and law clerks Complete legal research and prepare motions, pleadings, and briefsCounsel clients by assessing options and determining the best course of action for a successful outcome
