About the role

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Corporate Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional who is well-versed in SEC reporting and is looking to utilize their skills in a challenging and rewarding environment. The ideal candidate will be an expert in a variety of legal matters pertaining to our organization, with an emphasis on SEC reporting and corporate governance.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert legal support and advice to our organization, including the preparation and review of contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
  • Manage all aspects of SEC reporting and compliance, including the preparation and review of quarterly and annual reports, proxy statements, and other SEC filings.
  • Advise on corporate governance matters, including the development and implementation of corporate policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other members of the legal team to handle complex legal projects and initiatives.
  • Represent our organization in legal proceedings, including negotiations, disputes, and litigation.
  • Keep abreast of current legislation and regulatory developments that may impact our organization, and provide timely and accurate advice to senior management.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis as needed, and provide clear and concise legal opinions.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admitted to practice law in the state.
  • A minimum of 2+ years of experience as an attorney, preferably in the corporate or securities law field.
  • Extensive experience with SEC reporting and compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate governance principles and practices.
  • Excellent legal research and writing skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • High level of integrity and professional ethics.
  • Proficiency in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay

$250,000 - $450,000 per year
