Attending Physician, Emergency Medicine
About the role
The Ronald O. Perelman Department of Emergency Medicine at NYU Langone Health is seeking faculty members to support its rapid growth and to enhance and broaden its expertise. The department provides comprehensive care to over 400,000 patients annually across Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Long Island, serving a culturally diverse and ethnically rich community. It aims to develop future healthcare leaders and conducts cutting-edge research in areas such as opioids, homelessness, alcoholism, end-of-life care, health literacy, predictive analytics, and safe care delivery systems.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in emergency medicine settings
- Contribute to educational initiatives aimed at training the next generation of healthcare leaders
- Participate in research projects that address critical issues in emergency medicine
- Collaborate with colleagues to improve patient outcomes and community health
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Board certification in Emergency Medicine
- Experience in emergency medicine
- Strong commitment to teaching and research
Qualifications
- Doctoral degree in relevant field (e.g., public health, epidemiology)
- Research experience in emergency medicine or related fields
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Pay
