Attending Physician

About the role

Infinite Medical P.C. is seeking an Attending Physician to oversee and manage the primary medical care for residents at our facilities. This position offers a unique opportunity for professional growth, with the potential to evolve into a Medical Director/Attending Physician leadership role for candidates interested in expanding their clinical and administrative responsibilities within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary care provider for residents in Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs), taking responsibility for their medical management
• Conduct patient rounds, collaborating with NPs and PAs to assess and manage resident care
• Diagnose and treat patients with acute illnesses while overseeing the management of ongoing medical conditions
• Discuss treatment plans, prognosis, and advance care planning with residents and their families
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure adherence to healthcare regulations
• Work closely with nurses, therapists, and specialists to provide comprehensive care

Requirements

• A board-certified physician with experience in primary care and long-term care (LTC)
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively support and mentor NPs and PAs in delivering care
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 20 pounds and stand / walk / work on your feet up to 6-8 hours per day
