Attending Physician

About the role

This position combines the responsibilities of an Attending Physician and Medical Director in a sub-acute, long-term care setting. The role offers flexible hours with a focus on clinical care.

Responsibilities

• Oversee patient care and ensure compliance with facility policies and procedures
• Manage patient admissions and ensure documentation is completed within 72 hours
• Serve as a role model for staff and coordinate with facility teams to enhance care quality
• Collaborate with hospitals and community partners
• Adhere to legal, regulatory, and compliance standards, including HIPAA and the False Claims Act

Requirements

• Board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Long-term care (LTC) experience preferred
• M.D. or D.O. degree
• Geriatrics experience preferred

Pay

Compensation ranges from USD $75,000 to $100,000 annually.
