Job Type: Full-time & Part-time
Location: Lot in Providence, RI
Full-Time Shift Option 1: Monday - Friday 7AM - 3PM (40 hrs)
Part-Time Shift Option 2: Wednesday - Friday 3PM - 10PM (21 hrs)
Part-Time Shift Option 3: Saturday 10AM - 6PM & Sunday 7AM - 3PM (16 hrs)
Part-Time Shift Option 4: Saturday 6PM - 12AM & Sunday 2PM - 10PM (14 hrs)
About the Role
Propark Mobility is currently hiring Attendant / Porters for full-time and part-time opportunities to start immediately.
Responsibilities
- Perform all cleaning tasks noted on the checklists and as directed by the facility manager/supervisor to ensure that all dirt, dust, litter, and debris are removed from all areas of the facility.
- Sweep and pick up around the entrances and exits to the garage and stairwells, as well as clean surface area rails, etc. on all levels, the booth, the office and rest rooms, as directed.
- Empty all trashcans in the garage, the booth, and the office.
- Responsible for safety and security of company equipment. Report any known, observed, or suspected violations of company policy, safety hazard, or any unusual occurrence(s) to the regional and/or account managers in a timely manner.
- Pick-up and delivery of winter supplies, sand, salt, fuel, power equipment, vehicles, etc., as applicable per location.
- Maintain an inventory of janitorial supplies and submit requests to re-stock supplies as needed.
- Operate necessary equipment for cleaning and maintaining the facility.
- Shovel, plow, or blow snow from the entrance or exit ramps and in areas designated by the Facility Manager if and when needed.
- Direct patrons where to park.
- Issue tickets to customers, recording the required information on each ticket. Process exception transactions (e.g., lost tickets, grace period tickets, etc.) according to company policy, including completing the applicable form.
- Complete the daily shift paperwork by recording the number of transactions by parking rate, number of vehicles in and out of the facility, number of contract parkers, vehicles left in the facility, number of validated tickets and exception tickets.
- Provide the company’s standards of service with each customer including maintaining the required uniform appearance, stating the company greeting, answering questions, resolving issues and thanking each customer upon exit.
- Report any known accidents or violations of Company policy, safety hazards, or any unusual occurrence to the local manager in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- At least 18 years old.
- Valid driver's license, if applicable.
- Energetic, outgoing, and can stand, run, and carry items, up to 50lbs, if needed.
- Great communicator in both written and spoken language, with a friendly, professional approach to everyone you meet.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment, and can help resolve customer issues in a positive and helpful way.
