Attendant Nutrition Cafeteria

Job Description

Maintains and cleans service areas and equipment according to established procedures and standards. Provides general and food handling services for customers or patients. Ensures a positive customer experience.

Essential Functions

• Cleans and sanitizes equipment, tables, and work areas to maintain hygiene standards according to established procedures and standards.
• Affords assistance with the stocking and maintenance of supplies and food items.
• Operates and maintains various equipment pertinent to food services, such as dish machines and cooking appliances.
• Ensures a positive experience for customers.
• Might assist with the preparation and serving of food to customers.
• Might operate cash registers and handle money as applicable.

Education Requirement

A High School Diploma or equivalent, required.

Skills

• Working knowledge of safe food handling practices and sanitation standards.
• Effective communication skills.

Experience

Food service experience, preferred.
