About the role
Bally's Corporation is a global casino-entertainment company with a growing omni-channel presence, currently owning and managing 15 casinos across 10 states, a golf course in New York, a horse racetrack in Colorado, and having access to OSB licenses in 18 states. The recent acquisition of Aspers further expands the company's footprint and digital capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of scalable software solutions across the organization
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality features
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following best practices
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
- Debug and resolve production issues in a timely manner
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team growth
- Stay current with emerging technologies and propose improvements to existing systems
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Strong proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Java, Python, C#, or similar)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful APIs
- Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience in the gaming, hospitality, or entertainment industry is a plus
