Cleans and services assigned area according to performance and safety standards to ensure a clean, comfortable, safe and attractive environment.

• Proactively greet team members and guests, initiating interaction to provide service
• Always use a positive parting remark to end the conversation

Essential Job Functions

• Cleans and polishes lighting fixtures, TV’s, marble surfaces, windows, trim, ceiling vents and fans
• Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, escalators, offices and other work areas
• Sweeps, scrubs, waxes, and polishes floor
• Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies
• Dusts furniture and equipment
• Polishes metalwork
• Washes walls, ceiling, and woodwork
• Washes windows, door panels, and sills
• Empties wastebaskets, and empties and cleans ashtrays
• Transports trash, waste and recyclable materials to disposal area
• Replenishes bathroom supplies
• Transports small equipment or tools between departments
• Other duties may be assigned

Qualifications

• High school education or general education degree (GED)
• Six months related experience or training preferred
• Ability to work with a variety of hand and power tools
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Advanced knowledge of building systems technology required

Physical And Mental Demands

• Regularly required to walk, see; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms
• Frequently required to balance and stoop, kneel or crouch
• Occasionally required to talk and hear
• Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Able to interact with others while maintaining a positive and courteous demeanor
