Attendant - Driving

Responsibilities

• Deliver on Our Promise by ensuring every moment matters for our clients: provide assistance when needed and communicate proactively.
• Direct incoming customers to available parking spaces for a seamless parking experience.
• Count vehicles on location throughout shift, as needed.
• Write and issue violation warnings to tenants and visitors that violate garage policies; patrol transient and reserved parking levels as needed.
• Assist customers who have forgotten where they parked their vehicle.
• Be at work every scheduled day, on time and in uniform.
• Control traffic at entrances and exits as needed.
• Assist in the maintenance and repair of parking equipment and any general maintenance tasks as directed by the Facility Manager.
• Report any known accidents, observed or suspected violations of Company policy, safety hazards, or unusual occurrences to the Facility Manager.
• Communicate debris, water, oil spills, etc. to the garage office.
• Substitute for Valets when necessary, if authorized.
• Have thorough knowledge of all areas of the garage, major streets, landmarks, and freeways in the area to assist customers in a seamless transportation experience.
• Assist Facility Manager with other duties as needed.
• Must be able to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check; events are hosted and you may be responsible for moving cars during the events.

Requirements

• A valid state driver’s license, current address, and acceptable driving record.
• The ability to safely drive a vehicle with a manual transmission (stick shift) is a plus.
• Availability to work special shifts if needed (2nd, 3rd shift, and/or weekends).
• Proof of eligibility to work legally in the U.S. (must provide valid documentation if hired).
• The ability to provide accurate information to customers and co-workers and respond professionally to customer problems or complaints.
• The ability to read, write, add, and subtract US currency and comprehend instructions, short emails, and memos.
• The ability to follow written and verbal instructions and calmly adapt to changes, delays, and unexpected events while working.

Pay

$19.00 per hour

Schedule

Part Time – Saturday and Sundays
