Responsibilities

• Greeting customers and answering basic questions about machines and services
• Providing courteous assistance to customers as needed
• Monitoring washers and dryers
• Keeping the facility clean and organized, including floors, folding areas, and restrooms
• Processing drop off orders
• Reporting any equipment issues to management
• Following safety and security procedures

Requirements

• Ability to provide friendly, professional customer service and communicate clearly with a diverse range of patrons
• Basic cash-handling skills, comfort using simple point-of-sale or change machines, and attention to detail when managing transactions
• Reliability in maintaining cleanliness standards, including routine sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and upkeep of folding and seating areas
• Ability to follow instructions, learn how to operate and troubleshoot common laundromat equipment, and promptly report maintenance issues
• Strong time-management skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a busy environment
• Willingness to follow safety, security, and hygiene procedures to support a safe environment for customers and team members
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior experience in customer service, retail, or facility care is beneficial but not required
• Capability to stand for extended periods and perform light physical tasks such as lifting laundry loads or moving supplies as needed

Schedule

Part-time, on-site position based in Council Bluffs, IA. May require evening, overnight, weekend, or holiday shifts depending on business needs.
