Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 1–3 years general office experience
- Computer literacy
- Excellent interpersonal skills; highly accurate and detail-oriented
- Bilingual preferred
Responsibilities
- Maintain the integrity of the district’s student information system data for assigned site
- Maintain attendance records and daily sign-in sheet
- Obtain and track attendance via phone calls from parents; initiate calls to parents/guardians
- Electronically record student attendance and coordinate data with cafeteria records
- Collate data electronically for state and site reporting
- Provide clerical support in counseling, principal, and assistant principal offices
- Finalize enrollment when students report to school; process all withdrawal requests
- Answer inquiries from parents/guardians and school officials using BOE guidelines and state-approved codes
- Prepare all site reports regarding attendance data, including end-of-year reports required by the State Department of Education
- Perform other duties as assigned

Physical Standards
- Frequently lift/carry and manipulate objects/supplies up to 10 lbs for up to 50 feet; occasionally lift/carry objects of 11–24 pounds for up to 50 feet
- Stand in place for short periods
- Walk as required to access equipment and perform responsibilities
- Sit as required to complete tasks
- Use hands for fine finger work, such as operating a computer
- Strong eye-hand coordination
- Talk and hear to communicate job-related duties and via telephone
- Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less) with or without correction
- Distance vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more) with or without correction
- Color vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors)
- Peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
