Attendance and Inclusion Support Worker

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support student attendance, enrolment, and engagement processes.
• Maintain Individual Learning Plans to ensure students receive targeted support.
• Collaborate with the Deputy Principal and Curriculum Coordinator to meet NCCD requirements.
• Build strong relationships with students, families, schools, and external stakeholders to enhance student outcomes.
• Model best-practice inclusion and support strategies that foster a safe, welcoming, and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor qualification in Counselling, Psychology, or Social Work.
• Demonstrated experience in the development, implementation, and monitoring of student attendance, census, and diagnostic testing.
• Experience in leading and supervising a team of Youth Workers working within a challenging environment and applying effective time management skills.
• Valid Driver’s Licence and/or Bus Licence.
• Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card).
• TCSI training is advantageous for this role.
