Atlassian Software Engineer

Telework: None Basic Requirements 7 years of experience as a software engineerBachelor’s degree in a technical discipline2 additional years of experience as a software engineer may be substituted for a degree Job Description The Software Engineer shall be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining tools and services in support of the Atlassian’s suite of products including Jira and Confluence. The Software Engineer shall work closely with cross-functional teams including software developers, system administrators, project managers, and mission customers to deliver seamless integrations that enhance productivity and streamline workflows. Required Experience Experience using the Linux CLI and Linux ToolsExperience writing Bash/PHP scripts to automate administrative tasks and workflowsRecent software development experience using Python and Java Experience using an integrated development environment such as the Atlassian plugin software developer kit (SDK) Experience with IaC principles and automation tools such as AnsibleExperience with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools such as GitLab CIExperience with containerization technologies such as DockerExperience creating documentation of configurations, procedures, and system changesExperience with Git for source code management, branching strategies, and team collaboration Desired Experience Experience with sustaining mission applications deployed in a Linux environmentExperience with interacting/training external customers Salary: $230,000 - $240,000 annually Excellent benefits package including 25 days PTO, 11 paid holidays, 100% employer-paid healthcare for employees and dependents – available day 1, 8% 401(k) employer match – immediate vesting.
