About the Role
The Account Manager provides athletic travel support for the university, delivering the highest level of personal service to coaches, athletes, and staff members. This role requires dependability, punctuality, and experience with both domestic and international group and individual travel. The position is on-site five days a week at the University of Michigan.
Responsibilities
- Handle occasional vacation coverage for other schools.
- Arrange all aspects of athletic individual travel, including GDS domestic and international air, hotel, and car bookings.
- Manage all aspects of athletic team travel, including group contract air, group hotel blocks, and charter bus bookings.
- Calculate and perform exchanges for both group and individual travel, domestic and international.
- Oversee group hotel and bus invoicing to meet monthly deadlines.
- Understand and utilize Anthony Travel Group Airline Benefits and Preferred Bus and Hotel Programs.
- Provide excellent customer service to external and internal customers via phone and email.

Requirements
- Proficient in Sabre GDS, with a preference for five years of travel agency experience.
- Experience with air, car, and hotel bookings.
- Knowledge of airline exchanges, individual and group pricing records.
- Familiarity with general office PC-based programs, including Microsoft Office 365.
- Strong judgment and decision-making skills.
- Ability to produce accurate work under tight ticketing deadlines.
- Fast thinking and professional customer service skills.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
- Must be punctual and maintain regular attendance.
